Who Are We?

Chillicothe Civic Theatre (CCT), a non-profit organization, was founded on December 11, 1968 for the purpose of serving as a center for persons interested in any phase of theatrical activity, whereby they might advance their knowledge and skills and contribute to the recreational, educational and cultural enrichment of the community.

If you have any interest in the theatre, whether it be on stage or behind the scenes, you can indulge yourself with CCT. New faces are the hallmark of a vibrant theatre oganization. We'd love to see yours beside ours!

Where are we located?

Chillicothe Civic Theatre is based in Chillicothe, Ohio, a city in south-central Ohio about 45 minutes due south of Columbus, the state Capital. Board meetings are normally held the first Sunday of each month at 7:00 PM at our current home in the St. Peter's Church School on W. Water St. We also maintain our rehearsal space, costumes, and properties at that location, and will produce some of our shows there.

Calling All Directors!

Chillicothe Civic Theatre is accepting applications for Directors for shows in our 2014 season. If you are an experienced director and would like to direct a show with CCT, email Connie Senter (Play Reading Committee Chair) at this link. Or, email Tim Kennard (CCT Board President) at cct@kennardweb.net. If you have a show in mind you'd like to direct, we'll certainly consider making it part of our season.

We will begin consideration of shows for our 2014 season as soon as the new year begins, so get in touch with us ASAP.
