Friday, Dec.6th Cancelled Show
The weather allowed us to present 3 of our 4 performances of "It's a Wonderful Life", but forced us to cancel the Friday night performance. As is stated on our website, our normal policy is that ALL SALES ARE FINAL. That applies to any performance that is actually presented. Because CCT decided to cancel the Friday night performance, we offered to allow those people who purchased Friday night tickets to exchange them for either Saturday or Sunday tickets. Many of you chose to do so, and we are extremely grateful and glad that you were able to see the show.
For those who were not able to exchange their tickets and see the show on Saturday or Sunday, we have a few options for you to consider.
Refund - We are happy to refund your purchase of tickets that were not used for the Friday night performance. If you did not use any of your tickets, the process is fairly simple. Once we receive your refund request, we'll verify the information you provide and process the refund. If it was by debit/credit card, we can easily process the refund through our Square account immediately. The refund ususally takes a couple of days to hit your account. If you paid by check, we'll have to cut a check and mail it out to you. Our treasurer will write a check and mail it to you ASAP.
If you used some of your tickets, but would like a refund for the rest, the process is easy if you paid by check, but more difficult if you paid by debit/credit. The check refund will take the same time as indicated before, but the credit/debit is in two parts. We can only do refund by transaction, not by specific amounts. So, we'll have to refund the entire transaction and then put in a new charge for the tickets that you did use. I don't think there are very many of these, but we can do it.
Donation - If you'd just like to donate the amount you paid to CCT, we would be even more grateful. We appreciate the support of the community through their ticket purchases, but are always thrilled when someone just kicks into the kitty to help us with all of our endeavors. We are currently in the process of securing a new storage and rehearsal facility, so we have plenty of ways to use your kind donation.
Sponsorship - The final option is to become a CCT Sponsor and apply what you've already paid us toward a year-long sponsorship for 2014. We have several levels, but the most appropriate is probably the Patron Sponsorship for $75. This entitles you to 2 tickets to each of our 4 main stage productions in 2014, as well as our two Children's Theatre shows at Carver Community Center. You are also listed in our show playbills as a CCT Patron, as well as on our website. So, you're effectively getting about 12 tickets for your $75. That works out to $6.25/ticket, which is an awesome savings.
We also have higher levels of Sponsorship, if you are so inclined, which include more tickets and other perks. You can see all of the options at our Sponsors link above.
Please accept our sincere apology for cancelling the show, and gratitude for your patience and understanding as we work to meet you needs.
Tim Kennard, CCT Board President
